Player Code Of Conduct

RUG Player’s Code of Conduct and Commitment

  • RUG players are expected to show exemplary behavior while representing RUG Little League Baseball.  They must refrain from unsportsmanlike gestures, talk, language, or profanity. Players will not taunt or tease players on the opposing team.  
  • No RUG member shall throw his/hers bat, helmet, glove or any object in disgust on or off the playing field at any time.
  • RUG members will show respect towards the umpires and their decisions.  All decisions made by the umpires are to be accepted as final.  No player should argue a call or judgment made by any umpire during a game either as a player or spectator.
  • RUG members must  accept the coaches’ decision regarding playing positions and the amount of playing time.   By rule you are guaranteed 6 outs and an at bat per game.
  • RUG members must understand that the coach may impose additional rules, guidelines and/or policies that I am required to follow and failure to comply with the rules, guidelines and/or policies is a violation of your commitment.
