Important Dates for the 2025 Season

We wanted to share some important dates with the RUG Community to make sure you had them saved on your calendar.

Notably, we have a series of Coach and Umpire training opportunities coming up soon that all Coaches and Umpires should try to attend, including a mandatory training for all Junior Umpires on March 16.

Coaches are also encouraged to attend the Umpire clinics! These trainings are offered to equip our amazing volunteers with the knowledge and skills to make the Little League experience the best it can be for our kids.

REGISTRATION AND PLAYER EVALUATIONS
1/31 - Deadline to register for AA Baseball and Softball - REGISTER NOW
2/1 - Player evaluations for Majors and AAA Baseball and Softball (Note: Player time slots will be sent out via separate email)
2/28 - Deadline to register for A Baseball and Softball, and Tee Ball - REGISTER NOW

COACH TRAINING
3/2 - Coaching Clinic for ALL Softball Coaches - Focus Baseball Facility, 12:30 pm to 2 pm
3/2 - Coaching Clinic for Player Pitch Baseball Coaches (AA and up) - Ingraham High School, 1 pm to 3 pm
3/23 - Coaching Clinic for ALL A Division (Baseball and Softball) and Tee Ball Coaches - Baldwin Elementary School, 4 pm to 6 pm

UMPIRE TRAINING
2/26-2/27 - District 8 Rules Clinic (two sessions, virtual)
3/1 - District 8 Field Mechanics Clinic (highly recommended!) - Shorewood High School, 9 am to 1 pm
3/2 - District 8 Field Mechanics Clinic (repeat of 3/1 clinic) - Northshore Athletic Fields, Woodinville, 1 pm to 5 pm
3/16 - Mandatory training clinic for ALL Junior Umpires - Maple Leaf #2, 1 pm to 3 pm

SPECIAL EVENTS
2/28-3/3 - Dick's Sporting Goods Discount Weekend #1 (20% off entire purchase)
3/21-3/24 - Dick's Sporting Goods Discount Weekend #2 (20% off entire purchase)
3/22 - Opening Day Jamboree
3/30 - Mariners Game / Little League Day at T-Mobile Park (additional fees)

PRACTICE SCHEDULES
2/22 - First potential practices for Majors and up
3/1 - Official start of practices for AAA and above
3/8 - First practices for AA divisions
3/15 - First practices for A divisions
3/24 - First practices for Tee Ball

GAME SCHEDULES
3/22 - Opening Day Jamboree (games start for AAA and up)
3/29 - Game start for AA divisions
4/21 - Games start for A divisions and Tee Ball
